It’s newLOG’s 10th anniversary this year, and to celebrate this milestone we will be performing two large-scale productions in 2014. In June, we will be continuing our cycle of the G&S operas with a new production of The Grand Duke. But first, this year’s spring production in Louth will be a full company show, with principals, chorus and orchestra. The programme will be a double bill of two early Sullivan operas: The Contrabandista and Trial by Jury. These gala performances will play at the Riverhead Theatre on Friday 28 February and Saturday 1 March. They will be directed by Chris Cann and we are delighted to welcome Alex Carpenter as musical director and conductor for these performances.
